Halverson has meet with the Mazomanie Town Board and
they are considering rezoning the back northeast section of property to C2 for mini warehouses
only. Mr. Halverson is requesting that a letter be sent to the Town Board from the Plan
Commission approving this rezoning request. The County committee will review this on August
9th and the County Board will receive the request in September for final action.
Motion by Craney, second by Boness to submit a letter to the Town of Mazomanie approving
that the zoning of the Halverson property on Highway 14 remain Cl along the highway and C2
rezoning be approved for the back southeast corner with a restrictive clause that only mini
warehouses be allowed on the property. Motion carried.
The Plan Commission briefly discussed the zoning proposed in the preliminary plans presented
by Mr. Lichte. This was not an agenda item so no action was taken but the questions were asked
"how much multi family property do we want to see in the village?" " Do we wish to allow R1
and R2 lots and how many R3 (two family) lots?" These issues have not been addressed with
Mr. Lichte and need to be discussed yet.
Motion by Craney, second by Boness to adjourn at 8:38 p.m. Motion carried.
Betty Schlough, CMC
Clerk/Treasurer
