This proposed 51-room motel is generally consistent with the commercial urban <br /> service area policies in the Town of Vienna. It is adjacent to two restaurant buildings and across <br /> the street from another restaurant, a gas station and cheese store. <br /> We note that the construction of the motel may require the filling of a small wetland area to the <br /> north and west. Since it is less than 2 acres, it is not subject to wetland zoning. <br /> Since this area is tributary to ponds and the Yahara River to the east, there needs to be a <br /> condition that if the area is filled there needs to be erosion control and runoff control, such as <br /> infiltration or retention/treatment of parking lot runoff. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH (septic, etc.) <br /> DANE COUNTY HIGHWAY <br /> CTH "V" is a contrilled access highway. This parcel was granted a commercial entrance in <br /> 1979. Access along the remaining frontage is restricted by WisDOT. <br /> OTHER <br />
