The meeting was called to order by Chairman Elsberry at 8:10 <br /> p.m. <br /> Members present: Silvin Kurt, Rick Griffin, Kris Hampton, <br /> Linda Elsberry. <br /> Members absent: Shari Lord <br /> II. The minutes of the July 18 meeting were reviewed. Motion by <br /> Supervisor Hampton, seconded by Supervisor Kurt to approve. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> III. Treasurer Linda Bollig presented the current bills to be <br /> paid along with the current bank balances. Motion by Supervisor <br /> Griffin, seconded by Supervisor Hampton to approve payment of the <br /> bills as presented, but to hold the Payne and Dolan bill until its <br /> due date of August 14. Motion carried. <br /> IV. PUBLIC CONCERNS <br /> Chair Elsberry reported that she had received some complaints <br /> about the road work in the Meadow Grove subdivision and had to get <br /> back again to an inquiry from Mrs. Ebert. Jeff Smith reported <br /> that all subdivisions that had road work done were swept last Wed. <br /> • V. PLAN COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATIONS ON ZONING <br /> F A. Wilbur & Laurna Klahn-3526 Eariwyn Rd. requested zone change <br /> k, ` from AG-1 to RH-2 on two acres of their existing farm to build <br /> a home for their retirement. The Plan Committee recommended <br /> • <br /> approval. Motion by Supervisor Griffin, seconded by Supervisor <br /> Kurt to approve this request as it is provided for in our town use <br /> plan. Motion carried. <br /> B. Mike Cordio-2037 DiPiazza Dr. requested zone change from RH-2 <br /> to R-3A on 20,000 sq. ft. for single family residential. He is <br /> currently building a home on DiPiazza and wants to divide the back <br /> of the property that faces Baxter Road into two lots for building <br /> duplexes. The residents of the neighborhood had presented a <br /> petition at the Plan Committee meeting in protest of this change. <br /> There were also a couple speakers against this proposal and none <br /> for at the meeting. The plan committee recommended denial of this <br /> request. It was also noted that there was a drainage easement <br /> that ran through this property. Motion by Supervisor Griffin, <br /> seconded by Supervisor Hampton that the request be denied. Motion <br /> carried. ..... <br /> ---- <br /> C. Mary Kelly-4728 Gaston Road, requested zone change from R-lA <br /> to A-2 for 1.5 acres to build a detached garage and from R-1 to <br /> CO-1 on .4 of an acre to preserve some green space in the <br /> residential neighborhood, the previous having been approved at the <br />
