r-
j
provided?
A Yes, I did do that.
Q Would you please provide us with that background
information at this time.
(Witness examining document)
A He mentioned five instances I believe in his testimony
as prime examples of rezones out of exclusive ag zoning
that occurred in the area for conditional use permits
that were granted. We have explained the conditional
use permits.
Both these conditional use permits that he listed
were for governmental uses. So under Farmland
Preservation Law, stare law, that is a legitimate use,
and those two were granted as such.
The other three rezones that he mentioned were
zoning petition 2272 in the Town of Dunn, and I believe
you'll find this on your Exhibit 61, and I can show you
on the exhibits up here.
Exhibit 2272 is this R-1 area right here in the
upper left-hand corner of the Meadowood plat.
(Indicating) This is a site that was less than
35 acres, so it would be considered a nonconforming or
a substandard parcel under the Farmland Preservation
Law, and it is in fact just an in fill, creating four
lots in an already existing platted subdivision.
