0 Water Resource Engineering Division
;; Dane County Land&Water Resources Department
Jeremy Manager
Balousek,P.E.,Division Mana
'scorsfi~-' J y g
DATE: April 1, 2016
TO: Lynn & Chad Kitsemble
Owners
FROM: Jess Starks
Erosion Control Specialist
RE: Kitsemble SFR& Driveway—Erosion Control Plan, EC2016-0044
The erosion control plan submitted 3/30/16 meets the needs of the site. The plan includes the
following requirements:
1. The site may only be accessed off Bergum Road using a stone tracking pad.The pad
must be 50' long x 20' wide x 12" deep, and constructed of 3-inch clear stone. No other
access may be used and material deposited in the road must be cleaned up throughout
and at the end of each workday. If the tracking pad is rendered ineffective, it must be
replaced in kind, and all construction traffic halted until the replacement has been
completed.
2. Silt fence must be installed prior to grading in the locations shown on the plan and
where deemed necessary, including down slope of all soil stockpiles. The silt fence must
be maintained until the site is stabilized. 12" diameter silt sock may be used in place of
silt fence.
3. Culvert and pipe outfalls must be protected by rock riprap underlain with geotextile
fabric, as shown on the plan. The riprap must be installed such that it forms a bowl-
shape with a depth of at least 12" to dissipate runoff energy.
4. Grading must be confined to the areas shown on the plan. No material storage, vehicle
traffic or grading may occur outside the limits of disturbance identified on the plan. In
the event any other areas are disturbed, additional erosion control measures, fees, and
plan revisions will be required. No topography may be altered within 5' of any lot line.
Lyman F.Anderson Agriculture&Conservation Center
5201 Fen Oak Drive,Room 208,Madison,Wisconsin 53718-PH:608/224-3730,FAX:608/224-3745
http://lwrd.countyofdane.com/wred/
