The Department is of the opinion that your client has <br /> satisfactorily complied with the requirements of NR 299 Wisconsin <br /> Administrative Code and the Department will grant water quality certification <br /> for a Corps permit. <br /> This does not preclude the need to have the area rezoned from the Dane County <br /> wetland maps, nor should the Department's decision be construed as a final <br /> determination on wetland matters at this time. Although we will grant water <br /> quality certification for this project, Department decisions are appealable <br /> and can be overturned by the courts.
