We have been in business for approximately 65 years. OUR OBJECTIVE IS We would like to locate a rail loadout for grain on the south side of the Wisconsin Southern railroad tracks, west of Twin Lane road. The major part of this installation would be located on the Robert Krebs land about 1500 ft. west of Twin Lane road, with a road leading from Twin Lane along the tracks to the loadout. BENEFITS TO THE AREA 1. It would add to the property tax base. 2. It would make for greater competitiveness for grain. 3. It would give grain farmers closer access to efficient rail transportation. 4. It would make for greater accessibility to grain markets that trucks cannot economically serve. 5. It would bring 3-phase power into the area. 3-phase power is now 3 miles from the projected site. 6. It would provide a scale in the area for custom weighing 7. It would create employment(full and part-time) . 8. It could be used in the future to bring in bulk products to be distributed more economically. We are in the process of applying for rezoning of this land from agricultural to agri-business. Your cooperation in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
