We have <br /> been in business for approximately 65 years. <br /> OUR OBJECTIVE IS <br /> We would like to locate a rail loadout for grain on the <br /> south side of the Wisconsin Southern railroad tracks, west of <br /> Twin Lane road. The major part of this installation would be <br /> located on the Robert Krebs land about 1500 ft. west of Twin <br /> Lane road, with a road leading from Twin Lane along the tracks <br /> to the loadout. <br /> BENEFITS TO THE AREA <br /> 1. It would add to the property tax base. <br /> 2. It would make for greater competitiveness for grain. <br /> 3. It would give grain farmers closer access to efficient <br /> rail transportation. <br /> 4. It would make for greater accessibility to grain markets <br /> that trucks cannot economically serve. <br /> 5. It would bring 3-phase power into the area. 3-phase <br /> power is now 3 miles from the projected site. <br /> 6. It would provide a scale in the area for custom weighing <br /> 7. It would create employment(full and part-time) . <br /> 8. It could be used in the future to bring in bulk products <br /> to be distributed more economically. <br /> We are in the process of applying for rezoning of this <br /> land from agricultural to agri-business. Your cooperation in <br /> this matter would be greatly appreciated. We would do our best <br /> to be a good, courteous neighbor along with adding economic <br /> value to the area.
