Members present: Jim Dix , Florence <br /> Reisgies , Suzanne Matiash , Tom Marx , John Zeier , Maureen <br /> O 'Malley , Al Geurts . <br /> Also Present: Paul Brandenburg , Mary Currie , Andy Currie , Brian <br /> McGettigan , Bob Ranguette , Hellen Hellenbrand , Troy Hellenbrand , <br /> John Pomeranke , Michael ? , Don Tierney , Jim Caldwell , Rex Endres , <br /> Joe Meffert , Randy Meffert , Ron Klaas , Mildred Tierney , Joanne <br /> Tierney , Pat O 'Connor , Peter Treinen . <br /> 1 ) Motion by Reisgies , second by Marx to approve the minutes <br /> from the December 2 , 1992 Planning Commission meeting . Carried . <br /> 2) Public Hearing was opened for reviewing a request for a <br /> Conditional Use Permit to construct and operate a golf course <br /> immediately west of the Six-mile Creek Subdivision . <br /> Bob Ranguette presented preliminary plans for the layout of the <br /> golf course and explained that they would like to start <br /> construction as early as March 1993 and open for business by June <br /> 1994 . <br /> Motion by Matiash , second by Dix to grant the Conditional Use <br /> Permit . Carried . <br /> 3 ) Public hearing was opened for reviewing a request for a <br /> Conditional Use Permit to construct a gasoline station/ <br /> convenience store at 404 W . Main ( intersection of highways Q and <br /> 19 ) . <br /> Randy Meffert presented plans for a new building and explained <br /> the existing building would be destroyed . The existing driveway <br /> along highway Q will be eliminated and the alley entrance north <br /> of the Village Hall will be widened to better accommodate traffic <br /> entering and exiting onto highway Q . <br /> Motion by Reisgies , second by Zeier to grant the Conditional Use <br /> Permit . Carried . <br /> Motion by Matiash , second by Marx to approve the site plan as <br /> presented contingent upon eliminating the existing driveway onto <br /> highway Q as discussed . Carried . <br /> 4) The Commission reviewed a letter from attorney Henry Gempler <br /> regarding the extraterritorial approval of a conditional use <br /> permit to expand the Raemisch Quarry ( northeast of the village ) . <br /> Gempler stated that the developers of Waunakee Heights and the <br /> Raemisch 's are close to signing a written agreement of terms and <br /> conditions for continuing operations of the quarry . <br />
