Young <br /> Also present : Mrs. Symon, Enger, Robert Roden <br /> Meeting was called to order by Mr. Walter at 1 :30 P. M. in <br /> Room 312 of the City-County Building. <br /> Mr. Robert Roden of the Department of Natural Resources dis- <br /> cussed the roles of the Board of Adjustment, the Zoning <br /> Committee and the administration under the zoning ordinance <br /> especially as it relates to the shoreland and flood plain <br /> sections. Among the points made were the following: <br /> 1. The counties shall not vary the standards as contained <br /> in the Wisconsin statutes or the DNR administrative codes. <br /> 2. DNR reserves the right to comment and object on all <br /> petitions and applications within the shoreland and flood <br /> plain areas. <br /> 3. Both the Board of Adjustment and the Zoning Committee <br /> should adopt such rules as are necessary to properly <br /> conduct their business. <br /> 14 The Board of Adjustment and the Zoning Committee should <br /> meet jointly at least once a year and oftener if necessary <br /> to oversee and evaluate the administration of the Zoning <br /> Ordinance and make such recommendations to the County <br /> Board as are necessary to provide more effective function <br /> and administration of the ordinance. <br /> • <br /> Meeting adjourned at 3 :45 P.M. <br /> Mrs. R.
