• BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MEETING - SEPTEMBER 26, 1968 <br /> The Dane County Board of Adjustment met at 7:30 P.M., September 26, <br /> 1968 in Room 202 B&C, City-County Building, Madison, Wisconsin to <br /> conduct a public hearing as published in the notice. The following <br /> members were present: Millard Erickson, Chairman; Oscar Holte, Vice- <br /> Chairman; Hermann Eisner, Secretary. Also present, L. J. Enger, Zoning <br /> Assistant. <br /> The meeting was called to order, the notice read and the following cases <br /> heard: <br /> Appeal by R. D. Angle from the denial of a permit to build an addition <br /> to a residence on Lot 5, Gaukel's Fish Lake Subdivision, Town of Roxbury. <br /> Permit denied because side yard would be less than required by Dane <br /> County Zoning Ordinance (10 feet required- 8 feet requested). <br /> THOSE IN FAVOR: Mr. Angle explained his plans for an addition and also <br /> submitted a deed restriction release from the neighboring property <br /> owner, which was read. <br /> THOSE OPPOSED: None <br /> TOWN BOARD: Mr. Robert Ballweg, Chairman appeared in favor. <br /> ACTION BY THE BOARD: Mr. Eisner moved for approval, Mr. Holte seconded <br /> and the motion carried. <br /> Appeal by Mrs. Clara Lavik from the denial of a permit to build an add- <br /> ition to a residence on O.L. 11, Assessor's Plat of Daleyville, Town of <br /> Perry. Permit denied because set back from road would be less than <br /> required by Dane County Zoning Ordinance (100 feet required- 45 feet <br /> requested). <br /> THOSE IN FAVOR: Mrs. Lavik explained the need for an enclosure at her <br /> front door and that a cement slab has been there for a number of years. <br /> THOSE OPPOSED: None <br /> TOWN BOARD: Mr. Albert Daley, Chairman appeared in favor. <br /> ACTION BY THE BOARD: Mr. Eisner moved for approval, Mr. Holte seconded <br /> and the motion carried. <br /> Appeal by Mr. Peter Dorn for a lot width variance on a parcel of land <br /> in the NO SW3i Section 27, Town of Springfield. The variance was re- <br /> quested to enable Mr. Dorn to sell the part of his property on which a <br /> business is located, this would leave his residence located on a parcel <br /> which is 42.7 feet in width and the Dane County Ordinance requires a <br /> lot width of 60 feet. <br /> THOSE IN FAVOR: Mr. Peter Dorn, Mr. Conrad Grob, Mr. F. D. Shuttleworth. <br /> Mr. Shuttleworth explained the need for the variance in order to protect <br /> Mr. Dorn's rights on his property. <br /> THOSE OPPOSED: None <br /> TOWN BOARD: Mr. Peter Ripp and Mr, John Laufenberg of the Board were <br /> in favor of the variance. <br /> ACTION BY THE BOARD: Mr. Eisner moved for approval and Mr. Holte seconded <br /> and the motion carried <br />
