BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MEETING, JUNE 8, 1968 <br /> The Dane County Board of Adjustment met at the City-County <br /> garage on Saturday, June 8, 1968 at 9:00 A.M. The following <br /> members were present: 0. K. Anderson, Chairman; Millard <br /> Erickson, Vice-Chairman; Hermann Eisner, Secretary. Also <br /> present, L. J. Enger, Zoning Assistant. <br /> The board proceeded to Block 7, Oakridge Subdivision, Section <br /> 35, Town of Madison. A permit had been denied because set back <br /> requested from South Park Street was less than required by <br /> ordinance, 24 feet requested vs 42 feet required; also the set <br /> back at the rear on Taylor Street, 10 feet requested vs 20 <br /> feet required. <br /> The board then proceeded to a parcel of land in the SW% of <br /> the NE 1A of section 36, Town of Madison, a permit had been <br /> denied because the ;rehr yard of an apartment building was <br /> less than required by ordinance. 20 feet was requested vs <br /> 25 feet required. <br /> The board then proceeded to a parcel of land in the NW% of <br /> the NW'A of Section 9, Town of Primrose. A permit had been <br /> denied because set back from both a county highway and a <br /> town road were less than required by ordinance. Set bact <br /> from the county road- 18 feet requested vs 42 feet required. <br /> Set back from the town road- 14 feet requested vs 30 feet <br /> required. <br /> The board then proceeded to a parcel of land in the SW% <br /> of the SE% of Section 34, Town of Perry. A permit had been <br /> denied because set back from a town road was less than <br /> required by ordinance. Set back requested was 51 feet vs <br /> 63 feet required. <br /> The board then returned to the city-county garage and <br /> adjourned. <br /> Time of trip: 2 hours, 45 minutes.
