BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT INSPECTION TRIP lr' July 22 , 1967 The Dane County Board of Adjustment met at 9 :00 A.M. July 22 , 1967, at the City-County Building for the purpose of viewing properties prior to the public hearing scheduled for July 26 , 1967. The following members were present: O.K. Anderson , Chairman; Millard Erickson, Vice Chairman , and Hermann Eisner, Secretary. William G. 3fassarene , Zoning Supervisor, also was present. The Board ' conducted inspections of the properties listed below. The southwest quadrant of the Intersection of U.S. Highway 51 and Griide Road, NE 1/4 , NE 1/4, Sec. 8, Town of Windsor, this being the subject of the Hamm Feed Service appeal. It was noted that no apparent hazard would be created by placing a sign in the location requested by appellant. Lots 11, 12 , 13 and 14 of Block 2 , Village of Windsor (unincorporated) , section 29 , Town of Windsor, subject of an appeal for a variance of the zoning requirements in order to allow the construction of multi-family dwellings in a single family zoning district (R•3) . It was noted that the ground in question is low in relation to the surrounding land a block or so away. Lot 12 , St. Domonic's Subdivision, Town of Roxbury, subject of an appeal to allow erection of a garage closer to the lot line than permitted by the ordinance (4 ft. vs 10 ft) . It was noted that placing the garage where desired by the owner would best preserve the view and uniformity of appearance of the property more than would be the case if it were moved forward or to the rear. The order of travel was Madison, Roxbury, Windsor, Madison. The Board adjourned at the City-County Building at 12 : 15 P.M. Mileages were determined without odometer readings as the odometer was inoperative. The following total mileages were determined for the individuals as shown: Erickson 131 ; Eisner 30 ; Anderson 21.
