BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MEETING - December 16, 1967 <br /> The Dane County Board of Adjustment met at the City-County garage <br /> err Saturday, Dec 16, 1967. The following members were present: 0. K. Anderson, <br /> Chairman and Millard Erickson, Vice-Chairman. <br /> The Board proceeded to the following sites, which were viewed: <br /> 1. Lot 8, Block 1, Clyde A. Gallagher Garden Subdivision, Town of <br /> Blooming Grove, a matter of sideyard on appeal by Ackley and Peterson, <br /> Builders. West wall of basement is improperly alighed, causing the right <br /> sideyard to vary from 10 ft to 6 ft at the rear. <br /> 2. Lot 5, Block 1, Morrisonville, Town of Westport, a matter of sideyard, <br /> rearyard and setback on appeal by the Morrisonville Fire Department. <br /> A representative of the builders was present. Measurements were taken to <br /> the walls of an existing basement and footings with results as follows: <br /> rear yard 61 ft; west sideyard 30 ft; east sideyard 10 ft and setback <br /> from County Route DM 18 feet from edge of paved road. Of these only the <br /> setback was out of tolerance (18 ft vs a requirement of 42 ft). It was <br /> noted that adjacent buildings were set back a like distance. <br /> 3. Lot 16, Borcher's Beach, Town of Westport, a matter of sideyard on <br /> appeal by Robert Watzke. The concrete basement in place met ordinance <br /> requirements except for sideyard to the north lot lige (6 ft, more or lesse. <br /> 4. Farm residence on the east side of Drammen Road, Sectiofl 19, Town of <br /> Perry, a matter of setback on appeal by Grant L. Nyhus. Mrs Nyhus was present <br /> and showed the Board the desired building site, the front of which was <br /> marked by a stake. 53 feet was measured from this stake to the center of <br /> the pavement of the road. It was noted that a hill rises from a point <br /> shortly to the rear. <br /> 5. Lot with house and garage located along the north side of the Rutland- <br /> Dunn Town Line Road, Section 31, Town of Dunn, a matter of sideyard, rearyard <br /> of residence and setback of garage. Sideyard appeared to meet requirements; <br /> rearyard was short (29+ ft vs 35ft) and garage setback was 38 ft from the <br /> centerline ofthe paved road vs a requirement of 63 ft. <br /> After viewing the properties, the Board returned th the City-County garage, <br /> and adjourned.
