Variance is necessary to permit an addition to a residence <br /> located in the SE';1 NW of Section 20, Town of Pleasant Springs. <br /> IN FAVOR: H.Stiklestad existing residence is non-conforming; the <br /> addition is to the rear and is acturally just filling in a corner of the <br /> house. The hour,e was in existance before the road was built. <br /> OTHERS IN FAVOR: None OPPOS??D: None TOWN BOARD: Not present <br /> The Public Hearing was closed. <br /> #409. No action <br /> #412. Motion by Voges second by Dahlk to grant a variance of 14 <br /> parking spaces as per finding of fact: <br /> 1. Walk in trade is limited. <br /> 2. Extra area for parking is available if necessary. <br /> 3. Proposal does preserve green area and trees. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> A. Unnecessary hardship <br /> B. Not contrary to rights of others or to interest of public. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> #413. Motion by Dahlk, second by Voges to grant Special Exception Permit <br /> to grade and fill adjacent to the Yahara River as per finding of fact: <br /> 1. Fill is to strengthen existing berms <br /> 2. Work was proposed by DNR <br /> 3. Fill is to be obtained from the up-stream side ofthe berms in <br /> the retention basin area. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> A. Work is necessary if facility is to be utilized. <br /> B. Fill and borrow areas were made only as necessary. <br /> C. Work will not encroach on the natural channel. <br /> D. Fill will he protected seeding, and further; that any amend- <br /> ments to the DNR permit will not void this Special Exception. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> #414. Motion by Voges second by Dahlk to grant a variance of 3' from <br /> required setback from center of road as per finding of fact: <br /> 1. House w-.s in existance before the road. <br /> 2. Addition will beto the rear. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> A. Unnecessary hardship <br /> B. Variance is necessary to provide right enjoyed by others. <br /> C.
