MINUTES OF THE DANE COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> MEETING OD AUGUST 15, 1975 <br /> Present: Erickson, Dahlk, Voges.. Also: Enger, Fleck, <br /> Ar <br /> Meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Chairman Erickson to hold a <br /> Public Hearing as published in the notice. Motion by Voges second by Dahlk _ <br /> to approve the minutes of July 18 and August 9, 1975, carried, <br /> Notice was read and the Public Hearing was opened. <br /> #372. Appeal by Walter D. Anderson for a variance from the required set- <br /> back from S.T.H. 78 asprovided by Sec. 10,17 (a) of the Dane County Zoning <br /> Ordinance. Variance is necessary to permit an addititon to a non-conformin_, <br /> residence located on 0.L. 2 Assessors Plat of Daleville, Township of Perry <br /> IN FAVOR: W. Anderson, another bedroom is needed for expanding family, no <br /> addition could be built without a variance. <br /> OTHERS IN FAVOR: none. OPPOSED: none. TOWN BOARD: not present. <br /> #3730 Appeal by James Culles for a Special Exception Permit to place fill <br /> in a flood plain area and build an addition to a residence located in the <br /> flood plain and to build an accessory building in the flood plain on a <br /> parcel of land which is part of O.L. "B", Plat of Waucheeta, Township of <br /> Dunn. <br /> IN FAVOR: J. Culles, prospective buyer and J. Bossingham, realtor. Purpose <br /> of appeal is to permit work to make the cottage a year around residence. <br /> Sewer is already in the house which would complicate moving of the buildin_. <br /> Fill would be minimal as the lot is just below the required elevation° <br /> OTHERS IN FAVOR: Lyman Anderson, County Supervisor, work will result in a <br /> vast improvement in the area. OPPOSED: none. TOWN BOARD: not present. <br /> ILy <br /> #371 . Appeal by Beaumont Gilmore for a variance from side yard as required <br /> by Sec. 10.05 (6) of the Dane County Zoning Ordinance. Variance is necess- ty <br /> to permit a garage addition to a residence located on Lot 69, Third Addition <br /> to Nondahl Heights, Township of Cottage Grove. <br /> IN FAVOR: B. Gilmore; two car garage is needed, the shortest distance to <br /> the lot line is 91 at the corner and then the distance increases from they, <br /> OTHERS IN FAVOR: none. OPPOSED: none. Town Board: Gene Skaar, Chairman, <br /> will go along with the decision of the Board, but advice would be well tak-n <br /> to move the garage farther back so that the residence would be conforming. <br /> #375. Appeal by Clinton Hoffman for a variance from the required setback <br /> from Lakeview Ave. as required by Sec. 10.16 (IL) (f) of the Dane County <br /> Zoning ordinance. Variance is necessary to permit repair and remodeling of <br /> a non-conforming residence located on Lot 5, Block 4, Second Addition to <br /> Highwood Estates, Township of Albion. <br /> IN FAVOR: C. Hoffman; intend to remove old porch and replace with a new on <br /> which will be 2' farther back from the road and to add a basement to the <br /> front portion of the house. <br /> OTHERS IN FAVOR: none. OPPOSED: none. TOWN BOARD: not present. <br /> #376. Appeal by John L. Reed for a variance from the setback from Morris PI k <br /> Road as required by Sec. 10.17 (4) of the Dane County Zoning Ordinance. <br /> Variance is necessary to permit construction of an accessory building on <br /> Lot 19, Morris Park, Township of Dunn. <br /> IN FAVOR: J. Reed; intend to remove old garage. and replace with new one. <br /> Steep incline of the lot would prevent moving the garage any farther back <br /> than proposed. <br /> OTHERS IN FAVOR: none. OPPOSED: none. TOWN BOARD: not present. <br />
