MINUTES OF THE DANE COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> MEETING OF FEBRUARY 21, 1975 <br /> Present: Erickson, Dahik, Voges. Also: Enger, Fleck. <br /> Meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Chairman Erickson to conduct <br /> a Public Hearing as published in the notice. Notion by Voges, second <br /> by Dahlk to approve minutes of January 17, and February 15, 1975; <br /> carried. <br /> The notice was read and the Public Hearing was opened. <br /> #335. Appeal by Peter Ripp for a variance from required setback from a <br /> town road as provided by Section 10.17 (3) of the Dane County Zoning <br /> Ordinance. Variance is necessary to permit an addition to an existing b <br /> located in Part of the S NE4 SWil of `Section 28, Township of Vienna. <br /> IN FAVOR: Peter Ripp; proposed addition to barn will allow increase <br /> of dairy herd. Steep bank to the North prevents building in that <br /> direction. Feed lot and existing buildings prevent addition to the <br /> West. Addition will not encroach farther into setback than the existing <br /> barn. <br /> OTHERS IN FAVOR: None OPPOSED: None <br /> Town Board: Telephone call from Clerk, Dorothy Bostad; Town Board <br /> has no objection. <br /> #336. Appeal by Donald E. Andree for a Special Exception Permit to <br /> build an addition to an accessory building located on a parcel of land <br /> in the 1W4 Sid of Section 23, Township of Mazomanie. <br /> IN FAVOR: D. Andree; proposed addition will be utilized as a garage, <br /> existing accessory building in a small utility shed. <br /> OTHERS IN FAVOR: None OPPOSED: None TOWN BOARD: Not present <br /> #337. Appeal by Arthur L. Cummingham for a Special Exception Permit <br /> to construct a pond to be located in the SEA SWy of Section 35, Town- <br /> ship of Dunkirk. <br /> IN,,TAVOR: Peter Burno, representing A.L. Cummingham; purpose is to <br /> construct a fish and wildlife pond adjacent to but unconnected to the <br /> Yahara River. DER permit has been applied for. Pond will be approximately <br /> 100' x 200' and water level will be maintained at l.6'-1.10' above <br /> the river level. The pond will be spring fed and because of the <br /> hydrostatic head, will not ordinarily drain into the river. A 6" <br /> drain pipe may be installed to help control the pond temperature. <br /> OTHERS IN FAVOR: Willis Lyle; owner of property to the South and <br /> Ogden Olson, Owner of property to the North. <br /> OPPOSED: None TOWN BOARD: Not present. <br /> #338. Appeal by the Primrose Lutheran Church for a variance from <br /> required setback from a town road as provided by Section 10.17 (3) of <br /> the Dane County Zoning Ordinance. Variance is necessary to permit <br /> construction of a covered entry for the chinch. <br /> IN FAVOR: Roger Olson, President of Church Congregation; proposed <br /> addition will be a covered entry over existing stoop.
