(3) <br /> MINUTES OF THE DANE COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> M:ETIFG OF OCTOBER 18, 1974 <br /> The Public Hearing was closed° <br /> #3140 Motion by Voges, second by Dahlk, to grant a variance of 2k-it from <br /> side yard requirements as per finding of fact, <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1. Property was inspected by the Board on October 12, 1974.0 <br /> 2° Evidence presented at Public Hearing: <br /> a° Testimony by Mr° Edward Bruns, indicated that the building is <br /> generally structurally sound. Work needs to be done on porches, <br /> window frames replaced. <br /> b° Inspection by the Zoning Department shows that the building con- <br /> forms to all provisions of the Ordinance except that a side yard <br /> of 5 feet is required and 2 z feet is provided. <br /> co The Chairman of the Town Board, Bernard J. Kennedy, testified that <br /> the Building Inspector for the Town of Westport, Nathan Engel had <br /> inspected the building and found that one porch roof did not meet <br /> the Building Code requirements and should be replaced° <br /> d. Those opposed did not offer any specific evidence, but rather <br /> general objections to the building being on the lot° <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> Based on testimony given at the hearing and observations made during an in- <br /> spection of the property the following facts are evident: <br /> (continued on page 4) <br /> • <br />
