MINUTES OF THE DANE COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 20, 1974 Present: Erickson, Dahlk, Voges Also: Enger, Fleck Meeting was called to order at 7:30 P. M. in Room 226, City County Building to conduct a Public Hearing as published in the notice. Motion by Dahik, second by Voges to approve the minutes of August 16 and September 14, 1974, Motion carried. The notice was read and the Public Hearing was opened.. #303. Appeal by Bertil L. Nelson for a variance from setback requirements as provided by Section 10.17 (4) of the Dane County Zoning Ordinance. Variance is necessary to permit alterations and addition to a non-conform- ing residence. LOCATION: On Lots 1 & 2, Block 7, Hickory Hills Estates, Township of Albion. IN FAVOR: Mr. & Mrs. Bertil L. Nelson, with public sewer being installed bathroom facilities must be provided. The addition will also provide an addition to the kitchen. OTHERS IN FAVOR: None OPPOSED: None TOWN BOARD: Not present. #304. Appeal by Paul Holmes for a variance from rear yard requirements as provided by Section 10.07 (7) (a) of the Dane County Zoning Ordinance. Variance is necessary to permit an addition to a non-conforming residence. LOCATION: Lot #16, Block 1, Third Addition to Highwood Estates, Township of Albion. IN FAVOR: Mr. & Mrs. Paul Holmes, addition will provide laundry room; will not extend beyond rear of existing residence, sewer is being installed OTHERS IN FAVOR: None OPPOSED: None TOWN BOARD: Not present. #305. Appeal by the Heritage Mutual Insurance Company for a variance from the distance requirements for signs as provided by Section 10.42 (3) (a) of the Dane County Zoning Ordinance. Variance is necessary to permit an existing sign to remain at present LOCATION: In the NA NEL of Sectio 13, Township of Verona. Applicant did not appear. #306. Appeal by the Wisconsin River Sportsman Club for a Special Except- I ion Permit to build an addition to a building which is located in a flood plain area in the SW:1- SW4 of Section 23, Township of Mazomanie. IN FAVOR: William Ruland, President, T. Frey, Vice President and G.Sch- aller, addition will provide storage for trap shooting supplies. Have no objection to meeting special construction requirements. OTHERS IN FAVOR: None OPPOSED: None TOWN BOARD: Not present. No commu- nications. #308. Appeal by William Jakubowski for a variance from the side yard requirements as provided by the Dane County Zoning Ordinance. Variance is necessary to permit an addition to a non-conforming residence. LOCATION Lot 16 and the West 2 of Lot 15, Block 9, Third Addition to Highwood Estates, Township of Albion. IN FAVOR: Mr. & Mr. William Jakubowski, addition is replacement of old bathroom portion of house, sewer has been installed. Addition will not be closer to lot line than the existing house.
