MINUTES OF THE DANE COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT Page 1 MEETING OF AUGUST 17, 1973 Present: Erickson, Holte, Dahlk. Also: Engel, Fleck. Meeting was called to order by Chairman Erickson in Room 226 to conduct a public hearing as published in the notice; time, 7:30 P.M. A motion to approve the minutes of July 20 and August 11, 1973 was made by Dahlk, second by Holte, carried. The notice was read and the public hearing was opened. • #229. Appeal by Mrs. Linda L. Kling from denial of a permit to build a garage on Lot 2, Camp Leonard, Township of Dunn. Permit denied because setback from front lot line is less than required by the Dane County Zon- ing Ordinance. IN FAVOR: Mrs. Kling was represented by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Dowdy. A plot plan and the deeds to Lot 2 and also Outlot "A" were presented. Pro posed garage will be located 20' back from front lot line of Outlot "A". OTHERS IN FAVOR: none. OPPOSED: none. TOWN BOARD: Telephone call - no ob- jection. #230. Appeal by Willis Wittwer for a Special Exception Permit to straighten the course of Flynn Creek ( Sugar River) in the NE% Nr:4 of Section 19, Township of Montrose. IN FAVOR: W. Wittwer; 'proposed straightening will correct the break-through of the river bank during high, water last spring which caused flooding of pasture-land. Statz from denial of a permit to build an additio to a residence located on a parcel of land in the SW'-4 SW14 of Section 2, Township of Sun Prairie. Permit denied because setback from Highway 1y is less than required by the Dane County .Zoning Ordinance. IN FAVOR: T. J. Statz; proposal is to enclose existing porch - will not extend beyond the existing residence. OTHERS IN FAVOR: none. OPPOSED: none. TOWN BOARD: not present. -232. Appeal by Joe Kalscheur from denial of a permit to build a" building on a parcel of land in the NEB SE1. of Section 22, Township of Springfield. Permit denied because setback from Town Road is less than required by the Dane County Zoning Ordinance. IN FAVOR: J. Kalscheur; proposea machine shed is located in only open area available on farmstead. No intention- of having doors on the road side of the building. OTHERS IN FAVOR: none. OPPOSED: none. TOWN BOARD: letter, in favor. 233. Apc-eal by Ted Valenza from denial of a permit to build an adaition to a non-conforming residence located on Lot 24 and part of Lot 25, Ole J. Qdu_ 'ark, Township of Dunn. Permit denied because rear yard ( setback from wate-) : s less than required by the Dane County Zoning Ordinance. IN FAVOR: T. Valenza; existing garage will be moved to make room for addi- tion. Addition will be on side away from the lake. •THERS IN FAVOR: none. OPPOSED: none.
