Appeal by Charles Williams from denial of a permit to construct a <br /> garage on a parcel of land located in the c'el SE of Sect .on 9, Township <br /> of Dankirk. Permit denied becau,,e side yard is less than required by <br /> the Dane County Zoning Crdinance, and rear yard is less than required <br /> by the Ordinance. <br /> Ill FAVOR: Robert Taylor, Bullock Garage Bldre., representing Mr. <br /> Williams, proposed location was chosen because of drop in terrain of <br /> lot to the cast, location of septic system in rear yard and several <br /> large ever 'reens in front of house. <br /> OTHZRS IN FAVOR: Stewart Larson, could see no harm being done. <br /> OPPOSED: None. <br /> TOWN BOARD: Not present. <br /> #217. Appeal by Roman Scrciitt from denial of a permit to build an addition <br /> to a barn on a parcel of land located in the NE N of Section 22, <br /> Township of Dane. Permit denied because setback from County Highways <br /> P and V is less than required by the Dane County Zoning Ordinance. <br /> IN FAVOR: R. Schmitt - proposed addition will provide cattle shed - <br /> opening to the south. Location will permit one door of the barn to be <br /> left open. <br /> OTHERS IN FAVOR: None. <br /> OPPOSED:fi None. <br /> TOWN BOARD: Not present. <br /> A communication from the Dane County Highway Department was read stating <br /> they had no adverse comments to the appeals being made. <br /> The public hearing was closed. <br /> #213. Motion by Holte to approve variance of 25' from required setback <br /> as per finding of fact: <br /> 1. Proven case of unnecessary hardship. <br /> 2. Not contrary to public interest or damaging to the rights of <br /> others or to property values in the area. <br /> Second by Dahlk, carried. <br /> #211 . Motion by Dahlk to approve a variance of 10' from required setback <br /> as per finding of fact: <br /> 1. Condition causing the hardship is unique. <br /> 2. Not contrary to public interest or damaging to rights of others <br /> or to property values in area. <br /> Second by Holte, carried. <br /> #215. Motion by Dahlk to approve a Special Exception Permit to construct <br /> a pond subject to S.C.S. and D.N.R approval; second by Holte, carried. <br /> #216. Motion by Holte to approve a variance of 5' from side-yard re- <br /> quirements and )46' from rear-yard requirements as per finding of fact: <br /> 1. Variance is required to secure for applicant a right enjoyed by <br /> other property owners in area. <br /> 2. Not contrary to public interest, rights of others, or property <br /> values. <br /> 3. Not contrary to a comprehensive plan. <br /> Second by Dahlk, carried. <br /> • <br /> #217. Motion by Dahlk to approve a variance of 17 ' from the required <br /> setback as per finding of fact: <br /> 1. Condition causing hardship is unique. <br /> 2.
