DANE COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> Meeting of September 15., 1972 <br /> The Dane County Board of Adjustment met on September 15, 1972 with <br /> the following members present: Dahlk, Holte; Erickson at 7:55 P.M. <br /> Also: Enger, Fleck <br /> Meeting was called to order by Dahlk in Room 2211 City-County Building, <br /> at 7:30 P. M. to conduct a Public Hearing as published in the notice. <br /> A motion to approve the minutes of August 18 and September 9, 1972 <br /> was made by Holte, second by Dahlk, carried. <br /> The notice was read and the Public Hearing was opened. <br /> ' #190. Appeal by Duaine Turner from denial of a permit to construct two <br /> duplexes on Lots 7, 8, 9 and 10, Block 8, Lake Forest, Township of <br /> Madison. Permit denied because lot area is less than required by the <br /> Dane County Zoning Ordinance. <br /> IN FAVOR: Duaine Turner It seems there was a question of whether or not <br /> Lot 6 would be included for required lot area, it will definitely be <br /> included. Off street parking will be proveded. <br /> OTHERS IN FAVOR: Mrs. Fitzgerald Does not object if Lot 6 is included ard is <br /> held as an unbuildable lot. <br /> OPPOSED: None TOWN BOARD: Letter stating no objection if Lot 6 is <br /> included for area. <br /> #191. Appeal by Adrian Miller from denial of a permit to build an <br /> accessory building on a parcel of land located in the N4 NEig of Section <br /> 3, Township of Primrose. Permit denied because setback from Town <br /> Road is less than required by the Dane County Zoning Ordinance. <br /> IN FAVOR: A. Miller Necessity of variance because there would be water <br /> drainage problems if building were closer to the silo. Should not be <br /> turned because open side of building, which will be used for cattle shed <br /> and hay storage, should be facing the south. <br /> OTHERS IN FAVOR: None TOWN BOARD: Not present <br /> #192. Appeal by Lee Phillips Jr., from denial of a permit to construct <br /> an addition to a residence located on A parcel of land in the SV+ty N4 <br /> of Section 22, Township of Cottage Grove. Permit denied because side <br /> yard is less than required by the Dane County Zoning Ordinance. <br /> IN FAVOR: L. Phillips, Jr. Addition will be a breezeway and garage <br /> would like to have in line with existing residence. Adjoining land is <br /> agricultural, no neighbors on that side. <br /> OTHERS IN FAVOR: L. Phillips, Sr. owner of adjoining land has no <br /> objection. TOWN BOARD: Robert Gust, Supervisor, board has no objection. <br /> #193. Appeal by Donald W. Smith for a Special Exception Permit to <br /> construct a pond on a parcel of land located in the NW1/4 SEA of Section <br /> 29, Township of Sun Prairie. <br /> IN FAVOR: D. Smith location of proposed pond is an existing low area. <br /> Application for a permit has also been filed with DNR. There will be no <br /> direct connection with Koshkonong Creek. Question, Enger; is there a <br /> spring at the location? Not known, hope to find one. <br /> OTHERS IN FAVOR: none. OPPOSED: none. TOWN BOARD: not present. <br />
