Page two Board of Adjustment Minutes of Meeting August 18, 1972 <br /> #189 Appeal by Walter•Haack from denial of a permit to build an addition <br /> tiff to a residence on a parcel of land located in the SW4 SEy of Section 8, To <br /> . ship of Cross Plains. Permit denied because setback from Town Road is <br /> less than required by the Dane County Zoning Ordinance. <br /> IN FAVOR: W. Haack, addition is in line with existing residence, road <br /> was lowered when bank in front of house was cut down in 1957. <br /> OTHERS IN FAVOR: None OPPOSED: None <br /> TOWN BOARD: Not present. <br /> The Public Hearing was closed. <br /> #186 Motion by Dahlk to approve Special Exception Permit as per finding <br /> of fact. The land is located in the flood plain area is mapped by the <br /> Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. The flood protection elevation <br /> is 788.0' and any building used for human havitation shall be built with <br /> its ground floor at the flood protection elevation. Conditions: 1. That <br /> any land filled on an elevation of less than 788.0' shall not be used <br /> as a building site. 2. The Special Exception Permit is issued subject <br /> to approval of the filling of the Shoreland-Flood Plain Management <br /> Section of the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. <br /> Second by Holte, carried. <br /> #187 Motion by Dahlk to allow a 38' variance with restriction of 20' <br /> addition to width of building. <br /> Second by Holte, carried. <br /> 188 Motion by Holte to granty 27' variance. Second Dahlk, carried. <br /> - 189 Motion by Dahlk to grant variance of 18'. Second by Holte, carried. <br /> 'iscussion was held pertaining to sub-committee (Dahlk) meeting with the <br /> udiciary Committee Monday, August 1)4, 1972. Motion by Erickson to pay <br /> arland Dahlk per diem for this meeting. Second Holte, carried. <br /> Discussion of Appeal #174. J.
