Page 2
DANE COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT JANUARY 21, 1972
V #163. Appeal by John Meyer from denial of a permit to build a garage and
an addition to a residence on Lot 19, Block 1, Greenridge Park, Town-
Ship of Dunn. Permit denied because setback from Town road and side-
yard are less than required by the Dane County Zoning Ordinance.
A correction was made noting that the side yard variance was not
required because the ordinance provides that on lots 50' or more in
width but less than 60' the side yard shall not be less than 5' .
IN FAVOR: J. Meyer proposes to change the summer-time cottage into an
all year residence which would require a garage. Sullivan Co., representing
Satterfields, stated the problem was in using a standard 50' steel
building on a 60' lot. In order to prevent the overhang being on the
adjoining lot, a 10" variance would be required on one side.
OTHERS IN FAVOR: none
OPPOSED: none
TOWN BOARD: Telephone call was received from H.
