Continued Minutes of Board .of Adjustment Meeting of October 20, 1972 <br /> IL, #200 John R. Strause <br /> IN FAVOR: J. Strause, addition will provide a garage and storage. <br /> Actually addition will be only a roof over the existing retaining walls. <br /> It would be difficult to build otherwise because of terrain and design <br /> of house. Park Commision has been contacted and they have no objection. <br /> OTHERS IN FAVOR. Mr. Jack Kurtenacker, 5218 Hedden Circle <br /> OPPOSED: None TOWN BOARD: R. Shepard, supervisor, Board is in favor. <br /> The Public Hearing was closed. <br /> #198 Motion by Holte to grant 3'l" variance on side yard, second by <br /> Dahlk, carried. <br /> #199 Notion by Dahlk to grant 2' variance in setback, second by Holte, <br /> carried. <br /> Chairman Eridkson expressed dissatisfaction with the letter from <br /> the Department of Transportation, City of Madison. Their statements <br /> that the Madison Area Transportation Plan calls for the "eventual" . <br /> widening of McKee Road and that State Highway 151 is planned as a <br /> "future" freeway--its exact location "yet to be" determined, with an <br /> interchange "at or near" the present intersection; indicate no firm <br /> basis from which the Board could form an opinion. Erickson requested <br /> that a letter be sent to the City requesting that they be more specific. <br /> Notion to Adjourn, made by Dahlk, second by Holte, carried. <br /> Meeting was adjourned. <br /> William Fleck <br /> Recording Secretary <br /> • <br />
