i <br /> SITE EVALUATION <br /> FOR PROPOSED BUILDINGS IN THE A-1 EXCLUSIVE &' A-3 AG DISTRICTS <br /> Determination of appropriate site shall include consideration of <br /> the following: <br /> Section 10. 123 (2) (b) 1. Dane County Code of Ordinances. <br /> 1. The residence and any accessory buildings may not be <br /> located on land devoted primarily to agricultural use. <br /> FACTORS OF DETERMINATION <br /> A. Will there be more than a minimal encroachment <br /> into existing or potential cropland. <br /> B. Will there be more than a minimum of cropland <br /> used for driveway. <br /> C. Does the site include a large enough area of <br /> land to be viable for agricultural use? <br /> D. Does the site have enough crop yield potential <br /> to be viable for ag use? <br /> E. Is there adequate access to the site to <br /> accommodate necessary ag equipment? <br /> F. Is the slope of the site appropriate for ag <br /> use without being subject to erosion problems? <br /> G. Will the project cause more than a minimum of <br /> land disturbance on the entire property? <br /> H. Is there another site or sites on the property <br /> that could be reasonably utilized . for <br /> construction of a building. <br /> Section 10.123 (2) (b)2 . Dane County Code of Ordinances. <br /> 2 . The residential use shall not limit the surrounding lands <br /> potential for agricultural use. <br /> FACTORS OF DETERMINATION <br /> A. Is there any potential for the residents on <br /> the property to object to ag uses on other <br /> properties? <br /> B. Is the proposed site located such that ag uses <br /> on other properties would cause unreasonable <br /> or undesirable impact? <br /> C. Will the proposed site limit expansion of ag <br /> use on other properties? <br />
