INSTRUCTIONS FOR SITE APPROVAL <br /> FOR NEW BIIILDINGS OR ADDITIONS TO BIIILDINGS IN Tilt A-1 OR A-3 EXCLUSIVE <br /> AGRICULTURE DISTRICTS <br /> A new procedure is required for review and approval of site plans for <br /> buildings or additions to buildings proposed to be constructed in the A- <br /> 1 and A-3 Exclusive Ag Districts. (NOTE: the procedure does not pertain <br /> to A-1 or A-2 Ag Districts. ) <br /> TWO COPIES OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION MUST BE SUBMITTED TO DANE COUNTY <br /> ZONING <br /> A. A site plan showing the proposed location of the building or <br /> addition including: <br /> 1. Location of the proposed driveway. <br /> 2 . Location of the pertinent cropland. <br /> 3 . Soil Classification on the site. <br /> B. A written statement verifying that the proposed use will not: <br /> a. Limit the surrounding lands potential for agricultural <br /> use. <br /> b. Conflict with agricultural use on the <br /> land or on other properties. <br /> REVIEW PROCESS <br /> A. The information will be sent to the pertinent town board for <br /> their review. <br /> B. The town board will submit their comments to Dane County <br /> Zoning to be presented to the Zoning & Natural Resources <br /> Committee (ZNR) . <br /> C. The ZNR Committee will review the information at their next <br /> regularly scheduled meeting but, action may be held pending <br /> receipt of communication from the town. <br /> APPROVAL OR DENIAL <br /> If the proposed site plan is approved a zoning permit may be <br /> issued for the construction of the building subject to the <br /> provisions of the zoning ordinance. If the site plan is not <br /> approved a permit may not be issued, the applicant must submit <br /> a new site plan for a different location. <br /> 545 (site plan A-lex) Pg 3 <br />
