Sorry if we made you feel less than welcome, for we were taken a <br /> bit off guard with a request for a home/business occupancy information. We had not gathered information for <br /> submitting the request, for our plans for a home/business are speculation at this time. We would feel more <br /> comfortable having a house built and/or maybe even financing in place before pursuing further. Nonetheless, we <br /> did work into our proposed plans for our home occupied business according to RH-1 from the Dane County <br /> zoning. We are using a passive solar, radiant heat design and the floor plan is best to keep open. For <br /> professionalism, the kitchen space will have the option of totally being shut off from the shared business/home <br /> space and we will be using removable room dividers and partition walls where needed. Our home and family <br /> comes first and business is secondary. <br /> We did hire an independent appraisal for the land only by David Beavan several weeks ago before applying for a <br /> construction loan. I'm assuming that Summit Bank also hired David for an appraisal for the construction loan and <br /> that's where the email request came into play? <br /> Attached are 8x11 pages of floor plans. Please let me know if they are unreadable and you need a full size <br /> PDF. Below is a mapping of proposed shared business space. Customers will not be coming into our office <br /> space, however I did add the bathroom into the square foot equation. As we had talked earlier, about 75% of our <br /> business is location school and event photography. We do use more office/workroom space at certain times of <br /> the year, when I have to package pictures for school delivery as well as set up several more computers for <br /> placing orders. <br /> We had talked briefly about signage. We currently do not use a business sign at our home occupied space on <br /> Marty Drive, other than 1 auxiliary sign that says, studio entrance. We would follow all zoning regulations if we <br /> decide to move our business to Gaston Road. Please let us know what you will need from us at this point as well <br /> as in the future if different than what we spoke about today. <br /> Per our conversation today -we will need to contact you when and if we have a new location for our home and <br /> plan on using for combined business use so that you can inspect?
