MINUTES OF THE DANE COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> MEETING OF MARCH 22, 1979 <br /> CI; PRESENT: Dahlk, Kruschke, Voges, Schwahn, Purcell <br /> ALSO PRESENT: Enger, Fleck. <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Chairman Dahlk in Room <br /> #224 City-County Building. Motion by Voges second by Purcell to approve <br /> the minutes of February 22, and March 20, 1979. Motion was carried. <br /> The notice was read and the public hearing was opened. <br /> #756. Appeal by Thomas E. Kuczynski for a variance from required set- <br />; back from USH-12 and Breunig Road as provided by Section 10.17 (1) and <br /> (3) Dane County Zoning Ordinance. Variances are necessary to permit a <br /> basement addition to a residence located at 6679 Breunig Road in the <br /> SE 1/4 SE 1/4 Section 27, Town of Roxbury. <br /> IN FAVOR: T. Kuczynski OPPOSED: None TOWN BOARD: Not present, <br /> no communication. <br /> #757. Appeal by Menard Brokerage and Development for a variance from <br /> required side yard as provided by Section 10.11 (6) (a) - Dane County <br /> Zoning Ordinance. Variance is necessary to permit construction of a <br /> building at 2601-11 West Beltline Highway in the SW 1/4 SW 1/4 - Section <br /> 34, Town of Madison. <br /> (11P0 IN FAVOR: Ross Menard, Sam Corona OPPOSED: None TOWN BOARD: Letter <br /> in favor. <br /> The public hearing was closed. <br /> #756. Motion by Purcell second by Schwahn to grant variances of 26 <br /> feet from the required setback from the centerline of Breunig Road and <br /> 5 feet from the required setback from USH 12. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1. Existing residence is too close to both roads and is approximately <br /> 100 years old. <br /> 2. Proposed addition will be in line with existing residence and will <br /> not he any closer to roads. <br /> 3. Proposed work is needed to prevent continued weather damage to <br /> residence. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> a. Proven case of unnecessary hardship. <br /> h. Variance is not contrary to rights of others or to the public <br /> interest. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> #757. Motion by Voges second by Schwahn to deny. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1.
