BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT - Minutes <br /> July 15, 1977 <br /> PAGE 6 <br /> (;) 2. Existing building location would permit only 2 foot addition <br /> without a variance. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> a. Variance preserves the zoning ordinance as much as possibl- <br /> without injustice to applicant. <br /> b. Variance is necessary to provide right enjoyed by others. <br /> c. Variance is not contrary to rights of others or to the <br /> public interest. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> #588. Motion by Dahlk second by Voges to grant a special exception <br /> permit with the following conditions: <br /> 1. Construction shall be firmly anchored to prevent floating in <br /> case of flood. <br /> 2. Electrical service (if any) shall be installed above the flood <br /> protection elevation. <br /> Motion by Dahlk second by Voges to grant a variance of 8 feet from <br /> required rear yard for porch addition and 10 feet from required rear <br /> yard for accessory building as per finding of fact: <br /> 1. Applicant is attempting to correct zoning violation caused <br /> by previous owner who built the accessory building without <br /> benefit of permits. <br /> ci; <br /> 2. Existing residence is located within 30 feet of rear line and <br /> no addition could be built without a variance. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> a. Proven case of unnecessary hardship. <br /> b.
