MINUTES OF THE DANE COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT. <br /> MAY 20, 1977 <br /> PRESENT: Erickson, Dahlk, Votes <br /> ALSO PRESENT: Enger, Fleck. <br /> Meeting was called to order by Chairman Erickson at 7:30 P.M. in room <br /> #226. Motion by Dahlk second by Voges to approve the minutes of <br /> May 15, 1977 and May 17,1977. Motion carried. <br /> The notice was read and the public hearing was opened. <br /> 4568. Appeal by Russell Greve for a variance from required setback <br /> from the centerline of C.T.H. "JG" as provided by Section 10.17 (2) <br /> Dane County Zoning Ordinance. Variance is necessary to permit an additio <br /> to an existing building located in part of the SW 1/4 SE 1/4 Section 35, <br /> Town of Vermont. <br /> IN FAVOR: R. Greve OTHERS IN FAVOR: None OPPOSED: None <br /> TOWN BOARD: Not present - Dane County Highway letter, no objection. <br /> #569. Appeal by Patrons Merchantile, Inc. for a variance from distance <br /> required between signs as provided by Section 10.41 (3) (a) and 10.42 <br /> (3) (a) Dane County Zoning Ordinance. Variance is necessary to permit <br /> a sign in part of the SW 1/4 SE 1/4 of Section 15, Town of Mazomanie. <br /> IN FAVOR: Ray Rettemund, Mgr. OTHERS IN FAVOR: None OPPOSED: None <br /> TOWN BOARD: Not present. <br /> CIF #570. Appeal by Stanley Phillips for a variance from maximum accessory <br /> building height as provided by Section 10.12 (3) (a) Dane County Zoning <br /> Ordinance. Variance is necessary to permit a 16 foot high accessory <br /> building on property located in part of the NW 1/4 NW 1/4 of Section 23, <br /> Town of Vienna. <br /> IN FAVOR: S. Phillips OTHERS IN FAVOR: None OPPOSED: None <br /> TOWN BOARD: Not present. <br /> #571. Appeal by Robert Stauber, Architect, for a variance from required <br /> rear yard as provided by Section 10.05 (8) (a) Dane County Zoning <br /> Ordinance. Variance is necessary to permit construction of a residence <br /> on Lot #44, Cherry Wood, Section 30, Town of Middleton. <br /> IN FAVOR: R. Stauber OTHERS IN FAVOR: None OPPOSED: None <br /> TOWN BOARD: Not present. <br /> The public hearing was closed. <br />• #568. Motion by Voges second by Dahlk to grant a variance of 31 feet <br /> from required setback from the center of CTH JG as per finding of fact: <br /> 1. Proposed addition will be located behind the front line of the <br /> building. <br /> 2. Line of vision on JG will not be impaired by addition. <br /> 3. No objection from Dane County Highway. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> a. Variance preserves the zoning ordinance as much as possible <br /> without injustice to applicant. <br /> b. Variance is not contrary to rights of others or to the public <br /> interest. <br /> Motion carried. <br />
