BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT - Minutes <br /> February 18, 1977 <br /> Page 2 <br /> 4:0;11. <br /> #552. Motion by Dahlk, second by Voges to grant a 228 foot variance <br /> y from the required distance from an intersection as per finding of <br /> fact and condition. <br /> 1. Apartment complex is located 1/4 mile to the West of CTH "D" <br /> (Fish Hatchery Road) thereby causing a problem in directing the <br /> public to the location and in indentification of the complex <br /> which is situated among several other apartment complexes. <br /> 2. Businesses, to the North, with their respective signs, prevent <br /> the effective location of this sign a farther distance from the <br /> intersection. <br /> 3. The sign is located outside of the vision corner. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> A. Proven case of unnecessary hardship. <br /> B. Variance is not contrary to rights of others or to the public <br /> interest. <br /> CONDITION: if the widening of CTH "D" (Fish Hatchery Road) <br /> necessitates the moving of the sign in the future; all costs <br /> shall be the obligation of the sign owner.
