Proposed addition is behind existing barn. <br /> 2. Existing an proposed barns must be connected to provide for utilizatio <br /> of existing barn. <br /> 3. Dane County Highway has no objection. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> a. - Proven case of unnecessary hardship. <br /> b. Variance is not contrary to rights of others or to the public <br /> interest. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> #979. Motion by Schwahn, second by Voges to deny. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1. An unattached garage accessory building could be located on the pro- <br /> perty without a variance. <br /> 2. An attached garage is not necessarily a right of a property owner but <br /> is more in the nature of a convenience for which a variance may not <br /> be granted <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> a. Unnecessary hardship was not proven. Motion carried. Dahlk <br /> voting, no. <br /> #980. Motion by Voges, second by Schwahn to hold in abeyance for 30 days <br /> to allow time for the town to initiate road vacating procedure. Motion <br /> (11,, carried, Kruschke voting no. Motion by Voges, second by Schwahn to send <br /> letter to Town Board requesting prompt action on vacating. Motion carried. <br /> #981. Motion by Schwahn, second by Purcell to grant a variance of 5 feet <br /> from the required setback from normal high water line. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1. Addition will not be utilized for residential purposes and will not <br /> be closer to water line than the existing non-conforming residence. <br /> 2. Denial of variance would not provide additional shoreland protection. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> a. Proven case of unnecessary hardship. <br /> b. Variance is not contrary to rights of others or to the public <br /> interest. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> #982 . Motion by Purcell, second by Voges to grant the Special Exception <br /> Permit as proposed.
