Ace III - Rutland.
Miller/Kruschke to grant variance of 14 feet more or less from required
setback from centerline of USH 14 to allow porch/entry addition to residence.
FINDING OF FACT:
1) . Addition is 25 feet more or less further from right-of-way than existing
residence.
2). Existing residence is over 100 years old.
3) . Lot size and configuration necessitates variance from virtually any
addition to residence.
CONCLUSION:
1) . Variance preserves the Zoning Ordinance as much as possible without
injustice to applicant.
2). Hardship is caused by the Ordinance and is not self-imposed.
Motion carried - 4-0.
#1496. Colletti - Westport.
Krushcke/Miller to grant special exception permit with conditions to allow
construction of patio and boulder retaining wall within 300 feet of Lake
Mendota.
4:, NOTE: Board of Adjustment James Quackenbush wished the record to reflect the
fact that Mr. Colletti is a neighbor, however, Mr. Quackenbush has not had
discussion with applicant or others outside of the Board of Adjustment
regarding this appeal.
