B.O.A./Minutes/10/24/85
Page 5
CONCLUSION:
a) . The project as planned, will not result in substantial detriment to
navigable waters by erosion, sedimentation, impairment of fish or
aquatic life, or safe and healthful conditions.
Motion carried. 5-0.
Petitions Held In Abeyance.
#1393. Hermanson - Dunn.
Schwahn/Kruschke to grant the permit subject to the following conditions:
1) . All fill to be spread and leveled as it is dumped.
2) . Filled area shall be seeded with fast growing grasses.
3) . A temporary construction easement along the West 24 feet of the
property shall be recorded in favor of the Town of Dunn for purposes
of construction of a storm sewer, duration of said easement to be
specified by the Town.
4) . A permanent 12 foot storm sewer easement along the West property line
shall be recorded in favor of the Town of Dunn.
5) . Tne required easement s shall be recorded within 60 days.
6) . The permit will be effective as of the date easements are recorded.
FINDING OF FACT:
1) . Surface water run-off has been a problem in the past. Walls have
been constructed on the Hermanson property which have compounded the
problem.
2) . The natural drainage pattern has been over the Hermanson and adjacent
property. A storm sewer in this area would alleviate the problem and
require little excavation. The adjoining property owner ahs agreed
to easements.
3) . Filling of the property without regard for the surface water run-off
would complicate the issue and result in adverse effects.
4) . Alternate location for storm sewer would require considerable depth
of excavation to provide required drop resulting in unnecessary cost
to the Town.
CONCLUSION:
a) . The project as planned, with specified conditions; will not result In
substantial detriment to navigable waters by erosion, sedimentation,
impairment of fish or aquatic life, or safe and healthful conditions.
Motion carried. 5-0.
#1401.
