FROM : TOWNOFMONTROSE PHONE NO. : 6084243848 Feb. 03 2016 12:25PM P8/8
Exc. parcel will be downsized to 8.9 acres to be rezoned to l2fl-3. The deed restriction will remain
in place but be shifted onto the Zimmerman's rezoned Al-Exc. parcel. Second by Tom. Motion
tarried with Jerome,Junior,Tim and Tom voting in favor of the request and Deb voting against
the request.
The second agenda item was a request from Ed and Faye O'Conner to rezone from Al-Exc. to RH-1 a
2.113 acre parcel in Section 29 on the west side of Feller Road. Ed and Faye will vacate the existing
farm home and build a new residence, using an existing farm drive. This would use the first of six
available splits on the original 210.18 acre farm, according to Dane County Planning and Development.
The request was straightforward- Tom moved and Deb seconded to recommend the town board's
approval of the request by Edward and Faye O'Conner to rezone 2.113 acres in Section 29 along
Feller Road from Al-Exc.to RT21-1 and further described as Lot l of Parcel 0508-292-8500-1.
Motion carried unanimously.
There were no other agenda items or public input. There was a brief, general discussion among
committee members about land use in the township_ Tim asked for volunteers to attend the upcoming
town board meeting to assist in answering questions by board members. The meeting adjourned after
unanimous approval of Tom's motion and Jerome's second to do so.
Submitted by
Deborah A.Brucaya,Recording Secretary
Town of Montrose Land Use Committee
2
