OFFICE TELE9HONE
90841163800
TOWN OF VIENNA
Office of Clerk
5270 NORWAY GROVE ROAD - DEFOREST, WIS. 53532
August 4, 1992
Dane County Zoning Dept.
City-County Bldg. , Room 116
210 Martin Luther King .Jr. , Blvd
Madison, Wisconsin 53709
Dear Sirs:
The Vienna Town Board held a public hearing on July 28 to
consider Zoning petition # 5210 by Gene Evans to change
zoning from C-1 to C-2 on that property. The Board voted to
oppose the request at that hearing. The Board reafirmed that
decision at their August 3 Town Board meeting.
The decision of the Board was three opposed and none in favor.
A review by the Town Plan committee found the zoning change
and intended use to be correct per the Town Plan, but made o
recommendation to the Board in support or opposition. Public
opinion voiced prior to and at meeting opposed the change.
The voted in opposition, even thought the change met the Town
Plan, due to public opinion and concerns expressed by Dane County
Highway Commissioner John Norwell that road improvement funds
may not be available for many years.
As this process is completed the Board is on record in opposition
to Zoning petition # 5210 . Thank you.
Sincerely,
Robert Pulvermacher
Vienna Town Clerk
1992
•
