Fleck: <br /> At the Cottage Grove Town Board Meeting held on February 3 , <br /> 1992 , the above zoning petition was reviewed. The Town ' s <br /> Planning Committee recommended to deny the request "on lack <br /> of fitting into the Town Land Use Plan (Policy 3) Exclusive <br /> Ag, lot size larger than 2 acres are discouraged from <br /> development in agricultural district; policy in Exclusive Ag <br /> District with input from residents against request . " <br /> Following additional testimony by persons for and against the <br /> petition, two motions were made . The first motion was to <br /> deny the request as suggested by the Planning Committee . <br /> That motion failed on roll call vote .
