See attached map. At the public hearing in <br /> conjunction with the last Township Planning Committee <br /> (January 14, 1992) , various input was received. Some local <br /> residents expressed concerns, such as "a change" in the <br /> immediate neighborhood, additional traffic (people, cars, <br /> and horses) on the roadways, potential crowding of 5 horses <br /> on 1 acre pasture, and some other items. <br /> Valerias and I noted that, indeed, there would be two <br /> more residences in that immediate area, that the owners may <br /> drive cars, ride horses, and have children and pets - as do <br /> many immediate area people. Mr. Gene Skaar pointed out the <br /> roads have been recently upgraded. It was also noted that <br /> the roads are unlikely to ever be heavily trafficked, and, <br /> obviously, the roads are there to be used. Further, to <br /> attempt to regulate (the relatively light, Country-Style) <br /> traffic, especially on a boundary road between two townships <br /> is futile. <br /> The petitioners also pointed out the increased tax <br /> revenue (approximately $9,000.00) , the school district is <br /> Deerfield, the soil type is excellent for conventional, <br /> gravity private sewage systems, and expressed a willfulness <br /> to utilize deed-restrictions and to insure a high-quality <br /> land use. <br /> Specifically, the Valerias state, as part of their <br /> petition, the following: <br /> 1. Only the divisions as shown will be allowed, with <br /> one single family residence per parcel. <br /> 2 . The building shall be at least: <br /> 1300 sq. feet for a Ranch <br /> 1500 sq. feet for a two-story <br /> 1300 sq. feet for a multi-level <br />
