Homburg Garth Peck Andrew Homburg Mickey Cole Eileen Conklin Sheri Severson Jane Bowers Call To Order The Planning Commission meeting was called to order at 8:27 PM by Chairperson Russ Reppen. All notices had been properly posted. The meeting was scheduled following a meeting of the Village Board and the Cottage Grove Area Development Corp. held a discussion about TIF Districting and Industrial Park Development. (1610 Quorum Established A quorum of six members were present at the time the meeting was called to order. Meeting Minutes: The minutes of the May 20th special meeting were presented. 111.1P MOTION: (Thunstrom, Sargent) To recommend approval of the minutes. Motion carried 6,0,0. Agenda Item: Banner for Lioness Auction The Lioness' have requested permission to place a banner over Main Street to advertise the Lioness Auction on Saturday, August 22. They have also requested that the middle portion of Reynolds Street be blocked off so food may be sold. The street would be blocked from 7 AM to 4 PM on August 22, the banner would be up from July 25 until August 22. The police,fire dept. and EMS will be notified of the street closure. • MOTION: (Kazda, Bean) to grant approval of the Lioness request to permit a banner over Main Street from July 25 to August 22, 1992, and to allow the closing of the center portion of Reynolds Street from 7 AM to 4 PM on August 22, 1992, for the (pp(kage Lioness Auction.
