Appeal by Arthur Paule for a variance from required sideyard as <br /> provided by Section 10.07(7) to permit addition to existing residence at 1946 <br /> Quam Point Drive being Lots 1, 2 and 3 Helm's Replat of Ole Quam's Park - <br /> Section 25, Town of Dunn. <br /> IN FAVOR: A. Paule OPPOSED: --- COMMUNICATION: Town Board. <br /> Harvey/Rendall to grant variance of 6 feet from required left sideyard with <br /> condition to permit carport addition to existing residence. <br /> CONDITION: <br /> 1). Granted subject to applicant not constructing garage addition granted <br /> under Variance #1941. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1). This proposal will relocate needed vehicle enclosure and not require <br /> setback variance. <br /> 2). Lot is pie-shaped and slopes away from road. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> 1). Variance preserves the zoning ordinance as much as possible without <br /> injustice to applicant. <br /> 2). Variance is necessary to provide right enjoyed by others. <br /> Motion carried - 4-0. <br /> #2042. Appeal by Loren Mathison for a variance from required setback from <br /> normal high watermark and sideyard as provided by Sections 11.03 and 10.16(6) <br /> to permit deck addition to boathouse as constructed at 3246 Brooklyn Drive <br /> being Lots 4 and part of Lot 3, Camp Columbia - Section 25, Town of Dunn. <br /> IN FAVOR: L. Matheson OPPOSED: W. Driscoll COMMUNICATION: Town Board, <br /> D.N.R. <br /> Quackenbush/Rendall to deny, requested variances to setback to normal high <br /> watermark and sideyard to permit addition to boathouse as constructed. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1). Work completed without required permits. <br /> 2). Applicant had previously applied for variance from required setback to <br /> normal high watermark and was approved subject to receiving Department of <br /> Natural Resources approvals. <br /> 3). Department of Natural Resources approval not acquired and erroneous site <br /> plan, regarding sideyard, was submitted. <br /> 4). Lot line dispute is being contested. <br /> 5). Structure being utilized for residential purposes in violation of Dane <br /> County Zoning Ordinance. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> 1). Unnecessary hardship was not proven. <br /> Motion carried - 4-0. <br /> #2044. Appeal by Eugene J. Esser for a variance from required setback from <br /> road as provided by Section 10.17(3) to permit construction of a accessory <br /> building at 7492 Shady Hill Drive - in the SW 1/4 NE 1/4 - Section 5, Town of <br /> Verona. <br />
