BOA MINUTES/12/20/90
Page 4
LP, CONDITIONS:
1). Contract spcifications will include time of completion and grading limit
provisions that result in the smallest amount of bare ground exposed for as
short a time as feasible.
2). Immediately upon completion of grading, the parking lot will be covered
with a 6" lift of gravel (which is the proposed final surface condition of the
parking lot) and perimeter areas will be restored with permanent seeding,
planting and ground cover.
3). The parking lot has been designed to drain to the low end of the lot and
into a containment basin. This grassed basin will trap sediment and
contaminents as the water slowly filters into the ground. Runoff will be
reduced as compared to a paved parking lot by leaving it surfaced with gravel,
which will help promote infiltration across the entire lot.
4). The upper half of the parking lot is to be cut in, the lower half filled.
5). The fill will be placed and compacted, and then stabilized by placement
of either gravel on the parking lot or topsoil, fertilizer, seed and mulch in
lawn areas.
6). The berm and containment area will be stabilized with permanent
vegetation.
7). Stabilization of the parking lot conforms with specifications found in
the U.S.D.A.-SOS Technical Guide.
8). Entire parking lot is out of wetlands, erosion controls are implemented
and maintained, and area is screened with natural looking vgetation.
9). Verification provided by D.N.R. that project, in its entirety is located
out of wetland.
10). That upon completion of project, certification by applicant's
professional engineer, that work has been completed as per plan and within
acceptable standards and conditions.
Motion carried - 3-1. Rendall, no.
#2066. Aldworth - Windsor - 11/29/90:
Kruschke/Quackenbush to hold in abeyance until January Hearing pending
applicant approaching Town Board with revised request. Motion carried - 4-0.
#2068. Schlobohm - Cottage Grove - 11/29/90:
Appearances: A. Sandsness
K. Ehlenfeldt
Quackenbush/Arts to grant permit, with conditions, to fill/grade within 300
feet of tributary to Koshkonong Creek.
CONDITIONS:
1). That plans and specifications be prepared by a licensed engineer within
the scope of the application, and filed with the Zoning Department before
commencement of any work.
2). That all work be performed in compliance with approved engineering
standards and all applicable governmental rules and regulations particularly
Section 11.05(4) of Dane County Code of Ordinances.
3).
