That plans and specifications be prepared by a licensed engineer within <br /> the scope of the application, and filed with the Zoning Department before <br /> commencement of any work. <br /> 2). That all work be performed in compliance with approved engineering <br /> standards and all applicable governmental rules and regulations particularly <br /> Section 11.05(4) of Dane County Ordinance. <br /> 3). That there be filed with the Zoning Department a certificate of <br /> compliance by a licensed engineer at the completion of the project. <br /> 4). Permit is valid for 30 days from grant. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1). Project is in conjunction with construction of new boathouse. <br /> 2). Plans and specifications by Nickolas George professional engineer. <br /> 3). Retaining walls are designed to stabilize and prevent erosion in areas of <br /> contour transition. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> 1). The project as planned, with specified conditions; will not result in <br /> substantial detriment to navigable waters by erosion, sedimentation, <br /> impairment of fish or aquatic life, or safe and healthful conditions. <br /> Motion carried - 3-0. <br /> 2316. Appeal by Kenneth E. Brost, Jr. & Hubert Mullooly for a Special <br /> Exception Permit as provided by Section 11.05(3) to permit filling, grading, <br /> 410, etc., within 300 feet of the Yahara River across from 2875 Exchange Street in <br /> the NW 1/4 NW 1/4 - Section 10, Town of Dunn. <br /> IN FAVOR: K. Brost, Jr. OPPOSED: --- COMMUNICATION: Town Board <br /> Dreps/Lynch to grant, with conditions, permit to fill and grade as completed, <br /> for purpose of creating parking area within 300 feet of Yahara River. <br /> CONDITIONS: <br /> 1). Foot print of fill area not to exceed 40' x 60' area. <br /> 2). Parking area to be covered with minimum 6" of gravel. <br /> 3). Sloped (non-parking) areas to be covered with appropriate vegetation and <br /> mulched or netted as to stabilize areas until established. <br /> 4). That plans and specifications be prepared by a licensed engineer within <br /> the scope of the application, and filed with the Zoning Department before <br /> commencement of any work. <br /> 5) . That all work be performed in compliance with approved engineering <br /> standards and all applicable governmental rules and regulations particularly <br /> Section 11.05(4) of Dane County Ordinance. <br /> 6). Final completion and certification by May 1, 1993. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1). Fill came from basement excavation within Village of McFarland. <br /> 2). Fill is out of flood zone and wetland however within 300 feet of Yahara <br /> River. <br /> 3). Fill is designed to allow 2 vehicles to be parked off-road. <br /> 4). Property slopes away from road and fill extends 5-6 feet maximum depth. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> 1). The project as planned, with specified conditions; will not result in <br /> substantial detriment to navigable waters by erosion, sedimentation, <br /> impairment of fish or aquatic life, or safe and healthful conditions. <br /> Motion carried - 3-0. <br />
