Appeal by Dennis & Betty Chadwick for a variance from required setback <br /> from road as provided by Section 10.17(3) to permit replacing barn destroyed <br /> by fire at 1384 Schadel Road in the SE 1/4 SE 1/4 - Section 31, Town of <br /> Deerfield. <br /> IN FAVOR: B. Chadwick OPPOSED: --- COMMUNICATION: Town Board <br /> Gaskill/Lynch to grant, with conditions, Variance of 15 more or less to permit <br /> 1 barn destroyed by fire to be reconstructed in former location. <br /> CONDITONS: <br /> 1). Entry driveway for milk trucks shall be parallel to barn and that there <br /> be no backing onto or blocking of roadway. <br /> 2). The surface lying between barn and roadway, be concrete, blacktop or <br /> gravel, and maintained, so as not to allow foreign materials or run-off to be <br /> deposited on roadway. <br /> 3). The structure shall be removed at the owner's expense if future road <br /> improvement requires additional right-of-way. <br /> 4). Any outdoor lighting installed not interfere with traffic flow on Schadel <br /> Road. <br /> 5). That the approach apron to Schadel Road be constructed so as not to <br /> damage existing paved highway. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1). Structure is intended to replace existing barn destroyed by fire. <br /> 2). Proposal is to fill in between 2 existing structures and utilize <br /> remaining foundation. <br /> 3). Property slopes downhill immediately beyond proposed building site. <br /> 4). Adjoining building extends further into required setback. <br /> 5). Only milk room extends into required setback while barn itself conforms <br /> to locational requirements. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> 1). Variance preserves the zonign ordiannce as much as possible without <br /> injustice to applicant. <br /> 2). Variance is not contrary to rights of others or to the public interest. <br /> Motion carried - 3-0. <br /> #2294. Appeal by Evergreen Transport Corporation for a variance from required <br /> setback from road, and sideyards and rearyard as provided by Sections 10.14(6) <br /> and (7), 10.17(4) and 10.11(7)(a) to permit addition to commercial building at <br /> 1309 Culmen Street being Lots 6 and 7, Block #1, Sunnyslope Plat additional <br /> lands in the NW 1/4 NW 1/4 - Section 35, Town of Madison. <br /> Applicant excused by Board Chair from appearing and testimony to be heard at <br /> September Hearing. <br /> #2295. Appeal by Donald Johnson for a variance from required setback from <br /> road as provided by Section 10.17(3) to permit construction of (2) single <br /> family residences on (2) lots located across from 1956 Quam Point Drive being <br /> part of Government Lot #1, Section 25, Town of Dunn. <br /> IN FAVOR: D. Johnson OPPOSED: B. Jensen COMMUNICATION: J. Martin, J & J <br /> Jasler, J. Larsen, R. Felland, R & J Long <br /> Gaskill/Lynch to grant Variance of 15.55 more or less feet from required <br /> centerline setback to permit construction of single family on Westerly lot <br /> (smaller of the two) not nearer than 35 feet to right-of-way of Quam Point <br /> Drive. <br />
