BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MINUTES <br /> HELD ON OCTOBER 27, 1994 <br /> PRESENT: Quackenbush, Gaskill, Dreps and Klopp. <br /> ALSO: Fleck, Reynolds. <br /> Meeting called to order at 6: 30 P.M. by Chairman Quackenbush in <br /> Room 2-E City-County Building to hold Public Hearing as published <br /> by Class II Notice. <br /> MINUTES: Gaskill/Dreps to approve minutes of September 15 and 22 , <br /> 1994 . Motion carried - 4-0. <br /> October Agenda Items: <br /> #2568 . Appeal by Jack Perkins for a Special Exception Permit as <br /> provided by Section 11. 05 (3) to permit filling, grading, etc. , <br /> within 300 feet of Lake Waubesa at 2743 Ridge Court being Lot #12 , <br /> Block 2, Greenridge Park, Section 9, Town of Dunn. <br /> IN FAVOR: C. Gumbar, T. Kleckner OPPOSED: D & L Kalscheur <br /> COMMUNICATION: Town Board <br /> DREPS/GASRILL to hold request in abeyance until November Hearing <br /> and include the following directives: <br /> 1) . Zoning Department enforce temporary erosion control <br /> requirements. <br /> 2) . Meet and seek Town response. <br /> 3) . Have permanent erosion and drainage plans. <br /> 4) . Owner and engineer both be present at November Hearing. <br /> Motion carried - 4-0. <br /> #2569 . Appeal by Don Douglas Allen of Zoning Administrator's <br /> interpretation of provisions of Dane County Zoning Ordinance <br /> Sections 10. 123 , 10. 14 (2) and 10. 16 (1) pertaining to moto-cross <br /> courses. <br /> IN FAVOR: D. Allen OPPOSED: Bill Fleck, Zoning Administrator, <br /> B. Burull, M. Nienfeldt COMMUNICATION: Letters - Scheildt and <br /> Kong, Planning Commission <br /> DREPS/GASRILL to deny appeal of Zoning Administrator' s <br /> interpretation and sustain decision of Zoning Administrator <br /> regarding moto-cross courses. Motion carried - 4-0. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1) . Appellant has constructed a moto cross course on his property <br /> encompassing approximately 4 . 5 acres. <br /> 2) . Course consists of race type course with jumps, hills and <br /> hair-pin turns. <br /> 3) . Zoning Ordinance is specific as to where moto-cross courses <br /> would be allowed. <br /> 4) . Property is zoned A-1 Exclusive. <br />
