BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MINUTES <br /> MEETING HELD ON July 28, 1994 <br /> PRESENT: Klopp, Gaskill and Quackenbush <br /> ALSO: Reynolds. <br /> Meeting called to order at 6: 30 P.M. by Chairman Quackenbush to <br /> - hold public hearing in Room #2-E City-County Building as published <br /> by Class II Notice. <br /> MINUTES: GASKILL/KLOPP to amend minutes of June 23, 1994 Appeal <br /> #2530 decision to read: "Gaskill/Klopp to sustain the appeal by <br /> the Arbor Hills Neighborhood Association of the Zoning <br /> Administrator's interpretation and overturn the policy of allowing <br /> mini-warehousing as a permitted use in the C-1 Commercial District. <br /> Motion carried - 4-0. <br /> GASKILL/KLOPP to approve minutes of June 16 and June 23, 1994 as <br /> amended. Motion carried - 3-0. <br /> JULY PUBLIC HEARING AGENDA ITEMS: <br /> #2539. Appeal by Steve Cowan for a Special Exception Permit as <br /> provided by Section 11. 05 (3) to permit filling, grading, etc. , <br /> within 300 feet of Vermont Creek In the SW 1/4 SW 1/4 Section 2 and <br /> NW 1/4 NW 1/4 Section 11, Town of Vermont. <br /> No appearances - No action was taken. <br /> #2540. Appeal by Richard & Teri Bedner for a variance from <br /> required setback from road as provided by Section 10. 17 (2) to <br /> permit additions to existing residence at 7671 CTH N in the SW 1/4 <br /> SE 1/4 - Section 5, Town of Bristol. <br /> IN FAVOR: T. Bedner OPPOSED: --- COMMUNICATION: County <br /> Highway, Dane County Environmental Health Department <br /> KLOPP/GASKILL to grant, with conditions, variance of 17 . 6± feet <br /> from required setback to centerline CTH N to permit residential <br /> addition extending no nearer to highway than does existing <br /> residence. <br /> CONDITIONS: <br /> 1) . The addition be removed at the owner's expense if future road <br /> improvement requires additional right-of-way. <br /> 2) . That total number of bedrooms not exceed 3 when project <br /> completed. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1) . Addition will extend no nearer to highway than does existing <br /> residence. - <br /> 2) . Entrance to residence will be relocated away from highway to <br /> side of structure. <br /> 3) . County Highway has no plans for future expansion in this area, <br /> however wishes condition included. <br /> 4) . Expanding family requires additional living space. <br /> CONCLUSION: c` <br />
