Appeal by Scott Sign, agent for Motel "6" for a variance from required <br /> maximum height of on-premise pylon sign as provided by Section 10.75(7) and <br /> 10.74(19) to permit structural repair of existing pylon sign at 6402 East <br /> Broadway in the NE 1/4 NE 1/4 - Section 26, Town of Blooming Grove. <br /> Withdrawn. <br /> #2195. Appeal by Barbara Wolfe, agent for Donald Wahlin for a Special <br /> Exception Permit as provided by Section 11.05(3) to permit filling, grading, <br /> etc. , within 300 feet of Lake Kegonsa at 1989 Skyline Drive being Lot #1, CSM <br /> 5815 part SW 1/4 NW 1/4 - Section 29, Town of Pleasant Springs. <br /> IN FAVOR: B. Wolfe OPPOSED: --- COMMUNICATION: Town Board. <br /> Rendall/Clark-Gaskill to grant permit, with conditions, to fill, grade and <br /> retaining wall involved with stair construction for existing boathouse. <br /> CONDITIONS: <br /> 1). AS per Nickolas George professional engineer plan, dated 9/26/91, <br /> submitted. <br /> 2). That plans and specifications be prepared by a licensed engineer within <br /> the scope of the application, and filed with the Zoning Department before <br /> commencement of any work. <br /> 3). That all work be performed in compliance with approved engineering <br /> standards and all applicable governmental rules and regulations particularly <br /> Section 11.05(4) of Dane County Code of Ordinances. <br /> 4). That there be filed with the Zoning Department a certified of compliance <br /> by a licensed engineer at the completion of the project. <br /> 5). Project completed and professional engineer, certification within 60 days <br /> from grant. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1) . Stairway plan involves more earth disturbing activity than is allowed <br /> under zoning permit. <br /> 2). Subject property has steep embankment 12 more or less feet above water <br /> level. <br /> 3). Zoning Permit ZP 1991 2024 is for boathouse construction. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> 1). The project as planned, with specified conditions; will not result in <br /> substantial detriment to navigable waters by erosion, sedimentation, <br /> impairment of fish or aquatic life, or safe and healthful conditions. - - <br /> Motion carried - 5-0. <br /> #2196. Appeal by Daniel J. Hartwig for a variance from required sideyard and <br /> setback from road as provided by Section 10.16(5)(a)and (b) to permit <br /> construction of new residence at 2996 Waubesa Avenue being Lot #18, Block #1, <br /> Waubesa Beach - Section 5, Town of Dunn. <br /> IN FAVOR: L. Zander OPPOSED: --- COMMUNICATION: Town Board. <br /> Quackenbush/Edgar to combine this request with Appeal #2162 (held in abeyance <br /> 9/26/91 P.H.) for purpose of consideration. Motion carried - 5-0. <br />
