Appeal by Land Surveys Ltd. , agent for Walter Mason for a Special <br /> Exception Permit as provided by Section 11.05(3) to permit filling, grading, <br /> etc. , within 300 feet of Lake Kegonsa at 1940 Quam Point Drive being Lot #8 <br /> and part Lot #9, Ole J. Quam Park - Section 23, Town of Dunn. <br /> IN FAVOR: W. Mason OPPOSED: --- COMMUNICATION: Town Board <br /> Dreps/Lynch to grant, with conditions, permit to fill, grade and retaining <br /> walls after construction of single family residence as proposed plan submitted <br /> by P.E. John Walker dated 3/25/93. <br /> CONDITIONS: <br /> 1). That plans and specifications be prepared by a licensed engineer within <br /> the scope of the application, and filed with the Zoning Department before <br /> commencement of any work. <br /> 2). That all work be performed in compliance with approved engineering <br /> standards and all applicable governmental rules and regulations particularly <br /> Section 11.05(4) of Dane County Zoning Ordinance. <br /> 3). That there be filed with the Zoning Department a certificate of <br /> compliance by a licensed engineer at the completion of the project. <br /> 4). Prior to commencing any work that a letter or plan detailing erosion <br /> control be on file with Dane County Zoning. <br /> 5). Completion deadline is August 1, 1993. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1). Project is in conjunction with construction of new single family <br /> residence after removal of old cottage. <br /> 2). House designed to compliment existing wooded lot and wildflower <br /> landscaping. <br /> 3). Zoning Permit #1993 - 1083 has been issued for new residence construction. <br /> 4). Applicant proposes to use erosion prevention measures during construction <br /> to ensure stabilization. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> 1). The project as planned, with specified conditions; will not result in <br /> substantial detriment to navigable waters by erosion, sedimentation, <br /> impairment of fish or aquatic life, or safe and healthful conditions. <br /> Motion carried - 4-0. <br /> #2366. Appeal by Mark and Roberta Nelson for a variance from required setback <br /> from road and sideyard as provided by Sections 10.17(4) and 10.07(7) to permit <br /> garage addition to existing residence at 4461 Beale Street being Lot #10, <br /> Block #4, Assessor's Plat #1, Section 8, Town of Dunn. <br /> IN FAVOR: M. Nelson OPPOSED: --- COMMUNICATION: Town Board <br /> Lynch/Dreps to hold appeal in abeyance until April Hearing to allow Board to <br /> re-visit the site and applicant provide a list of comparables. <br /> Motion carried - 4-0. <br /> #2367.
