Appeal by James & Barbara Wedel for a variance from required setback <br /> from road as provided by Section 10.17(5) to permit accessory building as <br /> located at 2918 Camp Leonard Road being Lot #2, Babcock Park - Section 4, Town <br /> of Dunn. <br /> IN FAVOR: J. Wedel OPPOSED: --- COMMUNICATION: Town Board <br /> Dreps/Gaskill to deny requested variance from setback to Bible Camp Road. <br /> FINDING OF FACTS: <br /> 1). Structure was relocated from adjoining property to present location <br /> without benefit of permit. <br /> 2). Applicant has irregular shaped lot with road frontage on 2 sides. <br /> 3). A portion of lot is limited by hillside; however, large suitable area, in <br /> a complying location is available, . <br /> 4). Structure is used for storage of lawn mowers and recreational equipment. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> 1). Unnecessary hardship was not proven. <br /> Motion carried - 4-0. <br /> #2369. Appeal by James Alme, agent for Raymond F. Miller for a Special <br /> Exception Permit as provided by Section 11.05(3) to permit filling, grading, <br /> etc. , within 300 feet of Lake Kegonsa at 2079 Skyline Drive in the NE 1/4 NW <br /> 1/4 - Section 29, Town of Pleasant Springs. <br /> IN FAVOR: J. Alme OPPOSED: --- COMMUNICATION: Town Board <br /> Gaskill/Dreps to grant, with conditions, permit to fill and grade as proposed <br /> also retaining structure as constructed. <br /> CONDITIONS: <br /> (1, 1). That plans and specifications be prepared by a licensed engineer within <br /> the scope of the application, and filed with the Zoning Department before <br /> commencement of any work. <br /> 2). That all work be performed in compliance with approved engineering <br /> standards and all applicable governmental rules and regulations particularly <br /> Section 11.05(4) of Dane County Zoning. <br /> 3). That there be filed with the Zoning Department a certificate of <br /> compliance by a licensed engineer at the completion of the project. <br /> 4). July 1, 1993 completion deadline. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1). Project is in conjunction with new home construction on Lake Kegonsa <br /> property. <br /> 2). Applicant has patio type entry doors presently 2 feet above existing <br /> grade and proposes to build-up patio for walk-out. <br /> 3). Project is intended to serve as access and walkways to residence and <br /> divert drainage away from residence. <br /> 4). Engineering provided by Nickolas George Professional Engineer. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> The project as planned, with specified conditions, will not result in <br /> substantial detriment detriment to navigable waters by erosion, sedimentation, <br /> impairment of fish or aquatic life, or safe and healthful conditions. <br /> Motion carried - 4-0. <br /> #2373. Appeal by Alm-Mac Construction, Inc. agents for Betty Hull for a <br /> variance from maximum lot coverage as provided by Section 10.07(5) to permit <br /> residence under construction at 3330 Quam Drive being the SE 1/2 Lot #21, Ole <br /> J. Quam's Park - Section 25, Town of Dunn. <br />
