BOA MINUTES 3/28/96 <br /> Page 6 <br /> 2) . That all work be performed in compliance with approved <br /> engineering standards and all applicable governmental <br /> rules and regulations particularly Section 11 . 05 (4) of <br /> Dane County Code of Ordinances . <br /> 3) . That there be filed with the Zoning Department a <br /> Certificate of compliance by a licensed engineer at the <br /> completion of the project. <br /> 4) . Subject to all other necessary governmental agency <br /> approvals. <br /> 5) . Permit valid June 1, 1996 until July 15, 1996. <br /> 6) . That Haybale and Erosion Fencing be utilized at <br /> shoreline to further prevent erosion from reaching <br /> lake. <br /> 7) . That any stair leading to boathouse if incorporating <br /> directional change,not have a landing exceeding 4' x 8' <br /> in size. <br /> 8) . That after boathouse work commences Zoning Department <br /> routinely inspects every 2 weeks to assure erosion <br /> prevention measures in place. <br /> 9) . That berm construction around boathouse to discourage <br /> erosion be at the discretion of the Zoning Department <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1) . Applicant proposes substantial additions to existing <br /> residence, new boathouse and related contouring for lot <br /> drainage. <br /> 2) . Retaining walls and boathouse are incorporated into 24 <br /> foot high banking. <br /> 3) . Engineering provided by Ronald Klaas, Professional <br /> Engineer. <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> 1) . The project as planned, with specified conditions; will <br /> not result in substantial detriment to navigable waters by <br /> erosion, sedimentation, impairment of fish or aquatic life, <br /> or safe and healthful conditions . Motion carried 4-0. <br /> #2721 . Appeal by Town of Westport Water Utility for a <br /> Special Exception Permit as provided by Section 11 . 05 (3) to <br /> permit filling, grading, etc. , within 300 feet of Six Mile <br /> Creek, the Yahara River and their tributaries in the various <br /> 1/4 1/4' s - Sections 16, 21, 22 and 27, Town of Westport. <br /> IN FAVOR: M. Vondrasek OPPOSED: --- COMMUNICATION: <br /> Town Board, County Highway <br /> SAYLES/GASKILL to grant, with conditions, permit to fill and <br /> grade associated with underground public utility <br /> installation as proposed. <br /> CONDITIONS: <br /> 1) . That plans and specifications be prepared by a licensed <br /> engineer within the scope of the application, and filed <br /> with the Zoning Department before commencement of any <br /> work. <br />
