Variance is not contrary to rights of others or to the <br /> public interest. Motion carried 3-0 . <br /> #2707 . Appeal by Harold Bewick for a variance from required <br /> maximum square footage and height of accessory buildings as <br /> provided by Section 10. 04 (1) and 10. 071 (3) to permit lot <br /> division of existing buildings from farm at 3222-24 Larsen <br /> Road - in the SW 1/4 SW 1/4 Section 31, Town of Blooming <br /> Grove. <br /> IN FAVOR: R. Trachtenberg, D. Wood OPPOSED: --- <br /> COMMUNICATION: -- <br /> SAYLES/KLOPP to deny requested variances from maximum square <br /> footage and height of accessory buildings to permit lot <br /> division as proposed. <br /> FINDING OF FACT: <br /> 1) . Applicant proposes to divide existing duplex residence <br /> from 38± acre parcel retaining barn and garage in <br /> residential (R-3A) zone. <br /> 2) . R-3A Zone requires maximum square footage of accessory <br /> buildings not to exceed 50% of residences and maximum <br /> average height of accessory buildings not exceed 12 feet. <br /> 3) . Rezone process would alleviate need for variances . <br /> CONCLUSION: <br /> 4L, 1 ) . Unnecessary hardship was not proven. Motion carried <br /> 3-0 . <br /> #2708 . Appeal by Dr. Suresh and Sonita Chandra for a <br /> Special Exception Permit as provided by Section 11 . 05 (3) to <br /> permit filling, grading, etc. , within 300 feet of Lake <br /> Mendota at 4713 CTH M being Lot #2, Assessor' s Plat of Fox <br /> Bluff, Section 5 South Town of Westport . <br /> IN FAVOR: D. Watts, S & S Chandra, N. Schmitz OPPOSED: - <br /> COMMUNICATION: Town Board, County Highway. <br /> SAYLES/KLOPP to grant, with conditions, permit to fill and <br /> grade for patio and lot drainage after new residential <br /> construction as proposed. <br /> 1) . That plans and specifications be prepared by a licensed <br /> engineer within the scope of the application, and filed <br /> with the Zoning Department before commencement of any <br /> work. <br /> 2) . That all work be performed in compliance with approved <br /> engineering standards and all applicable governmental <br /> rules and regulations particularly Section 11 . 05 (4) of <br /> Dane County Code of Ordinances . <br /> 3) . That there be filed with the Zoning Department a <br /> Certificate of compliance by a licensed engineer at the <br /> completion of the project. <br />
